Welcome to BreastfeedingGuide.com. My goal with this web page is to provide breastfeeding education and to let new families and lactation consultants know about the products I have developed to assist with breastfeeding education and success. I have always been a supporter of breastfeeding and families. I always have felt my mission in life was to help increase the knowledge about breastfeeding .My other goal was to create art that shows the incredible bond between parent and child. As a lactation consultant responsible for teaching hundreds of breastfeeding families and educating nurses and physicians about correct breastfeeding information, I needed a system I could use for everyone that was accurate, informative, consistent and had illustrations to demonstrate what is being taught. Much of the breastfeeding literature and education programs I came across had very few illustrations, had very hard to see pictures and most distressing was so many had incorrect positioning demonstrated. As an artist, I decided to make my own illustrations to support a comprehensive education Power Point and PDF presentation. Thus Illustrated Breastfeeding Guide was born (after a 2 year pregnancy and a very long labor!).
